About Stone Road Partners

As founder of Stone Road Partners, Bill has more than 20 years of principal investing and corporate financial and M&A experience ranging from investment banking and venture-backed start-ups, to one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Prior to the founding of SRP, Bill was a managing partner at the alternative investment arm of a family office where he originated and participated in the formation of multiple platform and stand-alone investments in the energy, agriculture and telecommunication verticals.

Before that he worked in a range of Corporate Development roles identifying and executing domestic and cross-border transactions for some of the largest retail and energy companies in the industry. Bill received his BA from Providence College where he was a member of their NCAA ranked Division I track and cross-country team. He received his MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.

Matt has 25 years of experience leading value creation, performance improvement, and growth initiatives for companies across industries. Prior to joining SRP, he was a Partner and Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group and at EY Parthenon in the Strategy and Transactions Group.

He has led multiple large scale transformation and growth efforts leading to billions in enterprise value for clients across the globe in multiple industries. He has served multiple private equity and corporate development offices to develop acquisition, integration, turnaround, cost transformation and growth strategies for their portfolio companies.

Prior to his consulting roles, he worked as a leader in technology startups and was an infantry officer in the 82nd Airborne Division. He has a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
